Cruising to PNG

cruising to PNG

I love going on cruises; so far I’ve been on five*.

However, cruising to PNG was never on my list; I had absolutely no interest in it … until a friend went last month on an 11 night cruise, and shared these awesome photos:

Imagine swimming in these beautiful crystal clear waters – it truly is an unspoiled paradise! Reminds me a bit of Lifou in New Caledonia 🙂 .

The island of Kitava, population 2000. The hut on the bottom left is the medical centre in the middle of town.

Rabaul, Papua New Guinea.

Of course, one of the other great things about cruising holidays is:

The Food!

Five course meals, consisting of soup, starter, entree, main and dessert …

My friend says she came back 4kg heavier … looking at these pics, I’m not surprised. I feel like I’ve gained a kilogram just looking at them!

Cruises are also known for providing fabulous on board entertainment, and seems this cruise was no different:

~Sigh~ … must be time to book my next cruising holiday, I think!

Linking up with Trish from My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.
