Did you know – for 15 years I was the editor of Footprints magazine?
In late 1997, when I couldn’t find the magazine that *I* wanted to read, I started my own! The first edition was very simple, just a bunch of photocopied pages, and launched in January 1998.
Over time however Footprints grew and improved, as you can see from some of the covers …
At the end of 2012, for various reasons, I made the difficult decision to cease publication.
But I’m still really proud of Footprints, and all the lives that it touched!

What an awesome achievement. I don’t really read magazines anymore but I do buy the recipes + each month for some inspiration.
I don’t read them as much as I used to but still enjoy them for a bit of escapism!

I love that pic too. One of the perks of being the editor was being able to put our photo on the cover 😉

That is such amazing history behind a magazine, you must be so very proud of what you were able to achieve over those 10 years. And it sure looked like a great magazine for everyone to read.

Yes – I knew! But….it is great to see the history of the covers. What started small certainly grew and progressed! I love the covers with you on them. Love that outfit you are wearing on the cover with your lovely daughter. You certainly have good reason to be proud of all those fabulous editions you were responsible for. xo
