One of the highlights of our brief stay in the UK, was a trip to the famous Madame Tussaud’s London waxworks museum.
We managed to squeeze in a visit towards the end of the day – arriving after 4pm – yet still managed to see everything before the closing time which was around 8 from memory. Best of all, there was no queue, and we managed to avoid the crowds that are common earlier in the day!
Some of the figures are incredibly lifelike; others, not so much. Some of the royal figures, for example, were obviously crafted a decade or more ago …
It was so much fun doing a bit of celebrity spotting, and posing for photographs!
Just between you and me, I think the hubster has a bit of a crush on Kate Winslet, but that’s okay – I got up close and personal with George Clooney AND Johnny Depp, so there were no complaints from me LOL.
I can’t help wondering if the other Madame Tussaud’s – in other cities around the world – are as good as the one in London. Surely it would have to be the original and best?
Oh, and don’t you think that Daniel Craig and I were totally separated at birth?! I was trying to match his facial expression but it’s not a good look on me – I look much better when I smile!
Have you ever been to Madame Tussaud’s London (or any of the others) – or is it on your bucket list?!
