The hubster was chuffed that we were to visit Marseilles during our cruise; at last he could legitimately sing “Take me away to Marseilles” by The Angels (one of his favourite bands).
And sing he did. A lot! It’s lucky I love him π .
It was a glorious sunny weekend – and yes I did get sunburnt despite wearing plenty of sunscreen. It probably didn’t help that we went sightseeing on an open top bus! See for yourself …
It was only a tiny taste of France but left us hungry for more. We’d particularly love to visit Paris – ah well, there’s always next time!
If you were to go to France – what foods would you just *have*Β to try?!

Beautiful photos Janet. I have only travelled to Paris, but would love to see a lot more of France. In Paris I loved their fresh baguettes, cheese and the best strawberries I’ve ever tasted. It did look like you had spectacular weather. π

What a wonderful experience you have had! I love the architecture over there. Not so fussed on their rocky and crowded beaches but look at the gorgeous blue skies! Looks like you had fabulous weather π

Stunning photos. France is up there with my favourites. I love traditional cassoulet!

I’ve been to Paris, but only for 3 days. I’d love to go back and explore more of France but I doubt it’ll ever happen. I totally think he’s saying live long and prosper lol.

I’ve never heard that song by the Angels! I’ve been to Paris and I ate pizza bizarrely enough. We also stopped for lunch one day at Versailles and ate baguettes, ham and cheese which is pretty standard. Great photos π
