Snapshots from Santorini

The hubster and I took over 3800 photos between us during our recent trip overseas.

Can you imagine getting that many photos developed in the “olden days” (only about 15 or 20 years ago)?! Admittedly a lot of our pics are duds and need to be deleted, but even so, that’s a LOT of photos!

So I thought I’d make it easier for myself, my friends and family, and my wonderful readers, by going through them slowly and posting a few each week here on the blog for “Wordless Wednesday”, rather than trying to edit and upload them all to Flickr or Facebook in one hit.

I’m not posting in any particular order; today I’m posting some of my favourite snapshots from Santorini, one of the Greek islands, for your enjoyment …

We arrived on the island of Santorini by tender from our cruise ship
Taking advantage of some shade and a place to sit on some whitewashed steps
View from the cable car in Santorini
The other transport option to get up or down that cliff was donkey ride!
View from Oia, Santorini
Restaurant with a view, Oia in Santorini
Amazing colours on Santorini – shame about the parking sign smack bang in the middle …
We ate THE most amazing crepes from this little place in Oia, Santorini
Swimming pools on Santorini – it was so hot and they looked so inviting!
Happy 25th wedding anniversary to us!
Such a poser … LOL

It’s a magical place and we would have loved to have spent more time there – perhaps taking in one of those magical sunsets – sigh …

Which one is your favourite from my snapshots from Santorini – and is it on your bucket list?!
