What to Wear to Christmas in July

Janet Camilleri · 24/07/2013 ·

I’m off to a Christmas in July event this weekend, so headed over to Polyvore for some inspiration. As you can see I got more and more creative with my ideas (and the names for each ensemble!) as I went along …

Ideas of What to Wear to Christmas in July

Santa's little helper
“Santa’s Little Helper”

Mulled wine
“Mulled Wine”

Winter wonderland
“Winter Wonderland”

O Christmas tree
“O Christmas Tree”

I’d happily wear any of these and actually think I have all the items for Number 1 (Santa’s Little Helper)

Have you been to any Christmas in July events? Which outfit would you wear?!

“Mulled Wine” looks like fun, but then I’ve always got a soft spot for a green dress like in “O Christmas Tree”.

Have fun at your Christmas in July do.

    Cheers,
    Lynda.

I love the “Mulled wine” look, it’s great!

I’ve never been to a Christmas in July event but I’ve always wanted to, secretly I’ve always wanted to wear a knitted Bridget Jones style knitted jumper with a reindeer or something on it, just because I never get to because its too hot at Christmas time, maybe I’ll host something next year so I can…

The top look is the best I think. We have a summer Christmas so beachy clothing is perfect for us.

Yep, that’s why it’s fun to dress all wintry and Christmassy in July. One day I’m going to have a white Christmas. One day!

Of course I’d say MULLED WINE! Love these Janet. However I think the Xmas tree would be better as it would hold my muffin top 🙂

I don’t mind going to an event, but I don’t think I could be bothered to do it at home. One Christmas a year is enough to organise thanks very much!

It’s kinda like Pinterest, except you can put pics of items together into one “set”. It’s not just fashion either although that’s what I like to play with (and dream about!)!

It never occured to me to theme dress for Christmas in July. Either the few gatherings I’ve been to it just completely escaped my attention ( ie I’m clueless) or I’m not hanging with the fun people (ie I’m clueless) Fun post. I need to broaden my approach to social situations and jazz up the old black and white.
