10 Gift Ideas for Crazy Cat Ladies

Janet Camilleri · 01/12/2015 ·

Judging by the enthusiastic response to the many cat pics and stories that I share here and on social media, there are a lot of crazy cat ladies out there!

Chances are, you know one of them. With Christmas less than four weeks away, I’m here to help you avoid cat-astrophe with 10 purrfect gift ideas for the crazy cat ladies in your life – and even better, they won’t break the bank.

Crazy Cat Ladies at Home

It’s possible to have cats in every room – even if you don’t own one!

1. You can always find comfort in cuddling up to a soft kitty, with one of these cat pillows from my new favourite store, H&M. The one on the left is $9.95, the right is $14.95.

2. Cats belong on beds more than hoomans do. Well, that’s what they think anyways. So why not go the whole hog cat with this cat quilt cover set from Crazy Sales?gift ideas for crazy cat ladies double bed quilt cover set3. But it’s not all soft and fluffy when it comes to kitty homewares … check out these black cat ceramic tiles ($49.95), great for bathrooms or use them as coasters:

I’ve been told that you’re not a REAL cat lady until you are wearing cats (no, not literally …).

5. The good folk at Cotton On have cottoned on to the needs of crazy cat ladies everywhere with this cat t-shirt (sorry no longer available):

6. Get ready for cuteness overload with kitten socks at Kmart – at only $1.50 a pair, you can buy some for YOU and a friend, and maybe even get some doggy ones for your pooch-loving friends. Or not.

7. There’s no need for crazy cat ladies to be feline blue just because it’s raining cats and dogs, if they have this gorgeous Flat Cats umbrella, available at David Jones for $29.95.

8. And what crazy cat lady wouldn’t want to show off her pussy, with this custom-made cat jewellery (sorry no longer available). Necklace $55 and antique brass brooch $25.

OMG, that duvet cover (I know you guys call it a doona but I refuse to convert!). I wonder what my husband would say if I put that on the bed with the cushions 😉

Perhaps, like the kitten socks, a lot of this stuff is also available in dog versions if that’s more your style?!

I actually really love those bathroom tiles. They are so much fun.

I know right! A bit out of my present buying budget but so cute I still had to include them 🙂

Oh my Lord! Pussweek! That is hilarious. I love the flat cats too. I’m not a fan of cats myself as I’m a wee bit allergic, but Miss Five has been asking for one lately so we’ll see what happens 🙂

Believe it or not I am allergic to Renee but I couldn’t bear to live without a kitty. I always have to wash my hands and face straight after patting Fleur, so I don’t get hay fever (and this is after I had 2 years of allergy injections!).
