I’m off to a Christmas in July event this weekend, so headed over to Polyvore for some inspiration. As you can see I got more and more creative with my ideas (and the names for each ensemble!) as I went along …
Ideas of What to Wear to Christmas in July
I’d happily wear any of these and actually think I have all the items for Number 1 (Santa’s Little Helper)
Have you been to any Christmas in July events? Which outfit would you wear?!

“Mulled Wine” looks like fun, but then I’ve always got a soft spot for a green dress like in “O Christmas Tree”.
Have fun at your Christmas in July do.
Cheers,
Lynda.

Janet says
I know, I wish it was hanging in my wardrobe right now!
Zoe says
I love the “Mulled wine” look, it’s great!
I’ve never been to a Christmas in July event but I’ve always wanted to, secretly I’ve always wanted to wear a knitted Bridget Jones style knitted jumper with a reindeer or something on it, just because I never get to because its too hot at Christmas time, maybe I’ll host something next year so I can…

Janet says
Oh me too!!! Love Bridget Jones …
Tamara says
The top look is the best I think. We have a summer Christmas so beachy clothing is perfect for us.
Janet says
Yep, that’s why it’s fun to dress all wintry and Christmassy in July. One day I’m going to have a white Christmas. One day!
Emily @ Have a laugh on me says
Of course I’d say MULLED WINE! Love these Janet. However I think the Xmas tree would be better as it would hold my muffin top π
Janet says
Ba ha ha – you’d rock any of them Em.
Lisa Wood says
How much fun would that be! I so love “O Christmas Tree” – such a gorgeous dress and the tights are too cute!
Have fun with Christmas in July.
Janet says
I love the colourful necklace, it’s like a rainbow only sparkly.
Robyn (Mrs D) says
I still can’t get my around this Christmas in July tradition!!! Maybe I should just try it. Oh and I like ‘Mulled Wine” best :))))
Janet says
I don’t mind going to an event, but I don’t think I could be bothered to do it at home. One Christmas a year is enough to organise thanks very much!
B says
I LOVE the ‘Mulled Wine’ look!
Great Polyvore work lovely!! Love seeing other people using it!
Janet says
Not as professional looking as yours but hey, it was fun!
Rita says
I love the first outfit. I never tried Polyvore. What is it exactly?
Janet says
It’s kinda like Pinterest, except you can put pics of items together into one “set”. It’s not just fashion either although that’s what I like to play with (and dream about!)!
Judy @Australian Inspirational Women says
I love the looks – such a great christmas feel.
Janet says
I’m getting excited about wearing Christmassy stuff on Friday night!
Trish says
I went to Christmas in July dessert night last night – I should have come by yesterday. I work red jeans, black boots and jacket.
Janet says
I know it’s only a typo but I reckon you would have totally WORKED red jeans, black boots and jacket!!!!
Psych Babbler says
Loved Santa’s little helper…but then again, I’m obsessed with the colour red! π Enjoy your Christmas in July…,must admit I haven’t been to one! π
Theresa says
It never occured to me to theme dress for Christmas in July. Either the few gatherings I’ve been to it just completely escaped my attention ( ie I’m clueless) or I’m not hanging with the fun people (ie I’m clueless) Fun post. I need to broaden my approach to social situations and jazz up the old black and white.
Janet Camilleri says
LOL happy to inspire you. I kinda get carried away with sort of thing π
Lana says
I would probably wear the Mulled Wine, but I really like anal the colors in the O.
Lana says
Oops spell check like all the colors in O.
