A Series of Santa Photos

Janet Camilleri · 18/12/2013 ·

Time for a trip down memory lane with some Santa photos of the kids over the years …

Santa photos 1 001 - Copy

Is it just me, or does Santa look a bit sleazy and like he’s getting ready to put his hand somewhere he shouldn’t?!

Santa photos 1 001

This Santa looks distinctly unimpressed that I am such a Mean Mummy, forcing my child to have a photo with him.

And then there were TWO! Don’t know what my kids are looking at but something certainly caught their eye off to the side – maybe I was waving at them?!

My girl (now Miss 17) refused to go anywhere without her “cuddly” (a piece from her cot quilt) for YEARS. Love this pic – full of the magic of childhood!

I didn’t know it at the time, but this was the last of the Santa photos. I remember it was a spur of the moment decision, we were running errands at the shops and I certainly hadn’t dressed them up for a photo shoot … I’m so glad now that we got it because after that, they were “too old” for Santa photos!

Wow! I can really see a resemblance between you and your daughter (now) in that first photo. I’d love to get my lot altogether for a Santa photo now they’re all grown up. It would be hilarious but rounding them up, impossible. I loved the crying photo! I think probably all of us Mums have one of those somewhere πŸ™‚

Yes, she used to be my “mini me”. Nowadays though she looks more like her Dad!

What a lovely look down memory lane.
Not sure if that first Santa looks sleazy, definitely grumpy though.

Too cute! I love that it went from being upset/scared to big beaming faces. Beautiful children.

What a great idea for Wordless Wednesday! I wish I’d got more Santa shots down of my son when he was little … I think I only got one and now he would absolutely refuse to sit on Santa’s lap even if I begged and bribed him! You captions under the photos are so funny … especially sleazy Santa. LOL!

Lizzy I can’t believe we only have 5 photos in total. I wish we’d gotten more!

What great memories for you and your kids. And now they’re out of school! You must be so proud Janet and wondering where the time went?!

These are great photo’s Janet! Yes that Santa in the first photo does look a little sleezy I think! I love looking back at santa photo’s. I remember one time when I was pregnant with my daughter and I took the boys to Carindale to have a Santa photo done and they were scared of Santa. So I had to get in the photo and I was not dressed for it. I was in a daggy maternity dress. Must find that photo! LOL x

Man, that first Santa really DOES look scary! I can see the magic in the one from 1998, looks like a kind, twinkle-eyed Santa.

What a lovely trip down memory lane of kids with Santa photos. I think my two kids would be mortified if I dared to put Santa photos of them up on my blog! They are all very special photos. Thanks for sharing them πŸ™‚

What great memories, I might have to go through mums old photos this weekend and see what I can find of us kids with Santa! That first Santa does seem to have the merry features required of a jolly man in red! x

I had the same inclination of the first santa! He looks grumpy too, and the second santa looks equally impressed ha ha. The last three look the part though. Believe it or not, I don’t have one single santa photo with any of my kids!
