Fashionomics Report: June

fashionomics report

I Must Confess: I’m blaming all my fashion spending this month on my family 😉 .

They have led me astray!

First of all, the kids gave me a $50 Crossroads voucher as part of my Mother’s Day extravaganza, so I just “had” to spend it; and then the hubster took me shopping – and he does love to spoil me (no wonder I love that man)! Here’s the lowdown:

Crossroads Voucher from the Kids

Chunky black/white cardigan

I was after a comfy, basic cardigan and this one fills the bill nicely. It was $44.95, but with 30% off, I paid $31.47.

Ponte Pants x 2 – Wine and Khaki

Beth at Almost Posh put me on to these – great way to bring a bit of colour to a winter wardrobe. Even better I paid just $7 per pair – reduced from $29.95 each! That’s the khaki pair in the pics above and below.

Shopping with Hubster

Then the hubster took me shopping during our weekend in the city.

Cream Hoodie

We both loved this oatmeal/cream hoodie for $20 (reduced from $40) at Rivers. It was the last one left, but I’ve since seen similar ones at Millers (though I couldn’t find it on their website just now). As you can see, it’s already become a firm favourite!

Ankle Boots

This was followed by a visit to Payless shoes for a pair suede ankle boots, also in my new favourite colour – oatmeal. These were half price, at $29.99.

Sleeveless Top

Finally, this cream mock turtle neck from Suzanne Grae looks great with jeans, and is a welcome addition to my wardrobe. Going through the “change”, I am finding that even in the coldest weather I need layers that I can take off when my body decides to overheat (which it does on a regular basis). Oh, and it was reduced from $39.95 to just $11.48. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

June Summary

Items bought: 6
This month’s total original ticket “value”: $244.79
Paid: $106.94
YTD Spend: $644.73

So now you know about my love affair with cream / nude / oatmeal (whatever you want to call it) – what colours have you embraced this season?!
