My Summer Fashion Wishlist 2014

Janet Camilleri · 08/10/2014 ·

I’ve been so busy lately (with work and studying for my Cert 4 in Small Business Management) – I’m itching to get out to the shops and check out the summer fashion and maybe indulge in a purchase or two …

So late one night over the weekend I did a bit of (ahem) research. No, not for my studies. Rather, I put together a bit of a Summer fashion wishlist. First chance I get, you can bet I’ll be out at the shops checking out these babies!

Tops from Katies

Katies selection

L to R these are a bargain at $34.95, $29.95 and $24.95.

All of these are currently on sale so I’d better not muck about if I really want them!

More Tops – this time from Suzanne Grae

Suzanne Grae selection

Left and Middle $39.95, Right $24.95.

Have you twigged yet that I need more summer tops in my wardrobe?!

The thing I like about all of these is that they can look “official” with my black pencil skirt for when I’m meeting clients, or can be dressed down with leggings or denim for a more casual look.

A Selection from Crossroads

Crossroads selection

L to R Crossroads dress $49.95, sandals $39.95 and crochet vest $44.95.

I’m also on the hunt for some summer sandals and these ones are a comfy wedge with elastic straps – so easy to pull on (if you are blind like me and buckles present a bit of a challenge).

I love the dress on the left in navy and cream; doesn’t it look cool but smart?

And I’ve been eyeing off crochet vests for years, but have yet to buy one. This one is long in the back, thought it might be a nice finishing touch to a lot of the outfits I wear.

I hope I get to the shops soon, to discover which Summer fashion items are worth bringing home to become part of my wardrobe!

Would any of these be on your Summer fashion wishlist too?!

26.10.14 Update: I bought the long tunic top on the left in the Suzanne Grae pic – it was reduced to $19.95 and then had a further 30% off – SCORE!!!

I definitely need new sandals for this summer. I really like your selection of tops.
I just ticked off buying a new pair of glasses!

I’m trying to avoid buying much at the moment while I’m breastfeeding and trying to lose baby weight. I love summer tops that versatile for business and smart casual wear. You will have to share what you purchase!

Nothing so far Bec – I did go into Crossroads but none of them were quite right when I tried them on 🙁

I’m really loving the monochrome look and adore black & white stripes. I found a black & white striped pencil skirt recently in Jacqui E which I can wear with either a plain black or white or a bright coloured top. I also bought a pair of white wedged heel sandals which I think I can wear with anything in my wardrobe this Summer. What I would really like to buy next is a black & white handbag.

Jacqui E has some lovely clothes, don’t they!

I tried them on but they were pretty high, I ended up finding some lovely wedge sandals at Spendless Shoes instead (have a look on my Instagram for pics!)

Love those black wedges Janet I might need to add to cart! I haven’t had much time either lately for shopping (what?!) but slides, pencil skirts and sport luxe tees are on my list. x K

They ended up being too high for my liking but I found some great ones at Spendless instead – I’m gonna try and link to a pic of them on Instagram not sure if it will work though!

I love the look of the middle Suzanne Grae top. Mint green is such a pretty and refreshing colour teamed with black and white.

The black wedges and cobalt blue top would fit seamlessly into my collection Janet xx

Sadly it didn’t look right on me when I tried it on, the waistline sat too high – kind of between my waist and my boobs – I must have a long waist!

Those sandals look great, and the elastic straps sound like the go. I do like that first striped top from Katies 🙂
