Last year I shared my dreams of making over our unfinished pergola area, and turning it into a Balinese courtyard.
I only found this one “before” photo – I mean who wants to take a photo of ugliness?! As you can see, it was little more than a dumping ground for junk (and it ended up much worse than this!) …
I haven’t quite created the Balinese courtyard I was dreaming of, but it certainly looks a whole lot better! That’s the same brick wall at the rear.
It’s still a work in progress, but I’m much happier with it now!
Linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.
neat lizard
He’s cute isn’t he! I have a frog very similar on another wall 🙂
You have to start somewhere Janet. Love what you have done so far. Must be a lovely spot to sit and have a cuppa now.
Yes, it is 🙂
Lovely makeover.
Looks great!! So nice to have a little space like that. Love the lizard on the wall!!
Much better than it was – I never wanted to go there before!
It looks a beautiful spot to see and chill.
I like the wall art.
Hubster and I often relax with a cup of tea in our new courtyard 🙂
It’s looking great Janet. I love your little tool shelf. x
Isn’t it great? Hubster did it for me for Christmas 🙂
I have a dragonfly just like your lizard – it is amazing what a few little ornaments and wall decorations can do for a space.
It looks really peaceful now, Janet!
It is! I have a frog on another wall that is just like the lizard and your dragonfly. 🙂
I have to say that is a HUGE improvement lovely! And I hope that things go well for your girl’s hospital visit, the GC Hospital is great, but so is Pindara and Allamanda. Keep me up to date with how it all goes. x
Thanks Em. She’s booked in at John Flynn at Tugun 🙂
Wow, what a transformation. It looks fantastic. Having a beautiful outdoor space really makes a difference x
It’s a great place to sit with a cuppa. Of course the kitty thinks we did it all for HER! lol
Looks much better! I love that little shelf and the gnome 🙂 Great job xx
I always hated gnomes but then they were $1 each at Bunnings so how could I resist. I have 3: Nevy, Trevy and Kevy! LOL
Ha ha. love those names! 🙂
I know the feeling Janet. I’ve not long finished renovating my courtyard. I love sitting out there now looking at my newly painted fence and all my new plants. It was a bit of hard (and hot) work but so worth it in the end.
I just love to sit out there with a cuppa and the hubster and/or kitty 🙂
It looks really nice Janet!
Looks lovely! A nice area to go and sit and ponder life!
