Could I, as a middle aged woman. pull off the glamourous retro pinup style?
When I stumbled across a gorgeous vintage style dress in an op shop recently for all of $7, I just had to bring it home ā even though it is very different to my usual style.
For starters, I think it will do nicely for the tropical theme night on the cruise I am going on in December with my three best girls!
But it also has a definite retro pinup style to it ā so just for fun, I roped in the talents of Miss 17 to help me with hair, makeup and photography (oh, and the shoes are hers too š ) ā and this is the result ā¦
So what did the hubster think of my new look?!
Judging from the pic below, Iād say he approved!
It was a lot of work, so I take my hat off to those who have make this style their own on a daily basis.
But it was also a lot of fun, creating this glamourous look!
