Surprisingly Stylish: Crocs Store Cleveland & Comp!

Crocs have come a long way in the last ten years, as I discovered on a recent visit to the Crocs store Cleveland (Qld, Australia).

I’ve always thought of them as kids or gardening shoes – perfect for messy outdoors activities and rainy days.

The traditional Crocs we LOVE to hate!

Nurses and childcare workers have made the “Alice” – a suede-look Mary Jane style Croc – their own, and with good reason. They look dressy enough for work, are comfortable for when you are on your feet all day, and you can just hose off any poo or spew!

But that was about all I thought Crocs were good for.

Crocs Store Cleveland

Until – I ventured into the Crocs store located on Bloomfield Street, Cleveland. There’s another one in Paddington, too.

I was amazed at what I found!

Stylish Wedges

All the comfort and sturdiness of a traditional Croc but with STYLE!

I am exceedingly tempted by the gorgeous coral sandals above … this is the A-Leigh Wedge Leather in Flamingo. They’re very flattering, and even better, middle-aged me won’t have to worry about breaking my neck learning to walk in them 😉

But then I was distracted by these lovely oatmeal linen wedges on another shelf in the Crocs store Cleveland. After all, being neutral they would be the perfect way to accessorise so much of my Summer wardrobe  … couldn’t you just see them with this dress?

Or maybe the black would be smarter?

Decisions, decisions! 😉

There is a great range of men’s shoes too, from this navy boat shoe …

To these other smart casual styles.
