That Holiday Feeling

Ahhhh … that holiday feeling!

You can get it at home, or in a far flung or exotic location.

It requires time away from work, phones, social media etc, and just chilling out, usually with family and/or friends. Sleeping in, reading, eating great food, and being in the great outdoors are all part of it.

Here are 5 clear outward signs of that summer holiday feeling …

1. Swimmers essential – forget fashion – go with comfort and practicality!
2. A bit of sunburn despite religious adherence to slip – slop – slap …
3. Thongs, or even bare feet;
4. No makeup;
5. And a great big smile!

I’m enjoying that holiday feeling at the moment – 3 weeks off work – my first real break since I started my business just over 2 years ago.  And much as I enjoy my work as a web writer and social media manager, I’m definitely relishing the time off and trying not to think that as of Monday it’ll be back to work for this little black duck!
