Earlier this month I shared my winter fashion wishlist.
I mean, what harm can a little day dreaming do? It doesn’t cost anything, right?!
WRONG! Seems I did such a great job on my research, I convinced myself that I really should add all these lovelies to my wardrobe – and the next day I went online and ordered the lot! Just goes to show, I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk … fashion from the real world 😉 .
Although normally I avoid buying fashion online, as a regular customer of both Katies and Crossroads, I’m familiar enough with the size, cut, quality and styling of their garments, that I was confident that I would be happy once they arrived. And I was right – I am thrilled with my purchases.
Now if only the weather here in Brisbane would cool down enough so that I could actually wear them …
As shopping splurges go, it came in at around $175 – which included an extra top as Katies had $20 off online if you spent $75 or more – AND, free delivery. I am the bargain queen after all!
I’d tell myself to step away from the keyboard, but I work in digital marketing and social media management, so that’s not gonna happen 😉 .
So much for only spending $15 last month (according to my Fashionomics Report). Seems I’ve made up for lost time already! And there are still another couple of weeks left in April – so who knows how it will all end up?! Perhaps it’s just as well our overseas visitors are keeping me busy … and away from the shops and internet!
Oh, and I also worked out why I didn’t spend much on fashion last month, and it’s not just what I originally thought – that I was busy with work. Miss 19 is overseas at the moment, so I’ve lost my shopping buddy 😉 .
When was the last time you went on a bit of a shopping spree?!

$175 for all those items seems like very good shopping to me Janet and they all look like great versatile pieces.
The perils of being a blogger are real, I fully understand. This week I blogged about Rose gold makeup and jewellery and I too have subsequently done some online shopping purchasing two of the items! Luckily the majority of the items I blogged about were very affordable too!

Thanks Ingrid, I thought so too. Now I just have to break the news to the hubster …. LOL

Oh I don’t blame you one little bit for splurging. I loved what you picked out especially the maroon and pink patterned scarf….might have to have a little look for that myself.
Janet Camilleri says
I can’t wait to wear it all!

I think you did amazingly well to only spend $175 for all of that – sometimes one piece costs more than that. Now just bring on the cooler weather so you can wear it.
Janet Camilleri says
I’m a bit of a bargain queen Karen, like to get the most value out of every dollar 😉

I am one of the overseas visitors staying at Janet’s place. I loved the excitement as the package of clothing arrived and watching her try on the items. I love clothes shopping and if it happens to be on sale then its a given that I will buy it.

LOL I think you have a bit of a shopping addiction, having seen you in action for myself 😉
