Twinning!

Janet Camilleri · 10/12/2014 ·

One of my sisters sent me this pic of herself wearing her new glasses, and one word came to mind: Twinning!

twinning

You’ve probably seen a million photos of me here on the blog, Facebook and Instagram, but just in case you’ve forgotten what I look like:

After years of looking nothing alike, there’s a definite family resemblance to be seen now! (I’ve shared some other photos of my sisters in this post, if you want to take a look back at the way we were … )

It also happens to be the above sister’s birthday today, so I couldn’t resist sharing her pic here on the blog and embarrassing her! Happy birthday sis!

What do you think – could we pass for twins? Hint: please say yes, as I’m 5 years older!

You can definately see the family resemblance but I wouldn’t mistake you for twins (sorry Janet lol)! BTW – Happy Birthday to your sister! 🙂

You are both very similar. I am 5 years older than my little sister and people used to say we were alike too, haven’t for a while though 🙂

As an actual twin- you look more like twins than my sister and I do! Some people don’t even think we are sisters.

There definitely is a resemblance. There’s something really grounding about looking like the other members of your family I think. I’ve always loved the similarities between me and my Dad. Feels really special.

Janet Camilleri is an Australian bloggerHi - I'm Janet Camilleri aka the Middle Aged Mama; crazy cat lady, award-winning business woman, and mother of two grown children. I might be a middle aged woman, but that doesn't mean I've lost all interest in looking stylish! I live in Brisbane, Australia, and I'm learning how to fashion a new life now that we have an empty nest - did somebody say "travel"?!
